The proposed feature aims to streamline the login process for users who manage multiple accounts while ensuring robust security measures are in place.
The challenge is to allow users to easily switch between multiple client accounts without compromising security. The suggestion is to:
Introduce a unified login mechanism where one set of credentials provides access to all associated client accounts.
Provide drop-down options on the login page, allowing users to easily select and access the desired account.
Upon accessing the login page, users with multiple associated accounts should see a drop-down menu listing all their client accounts.
Users can select the desired account from the drop-down and proceed with the login.
After logging in with a unified credential, users can be presented with a dashboard or selection screen to choose which client account they wish to access.
Enhanced Security: Implement Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for the unified login. When a user attempts to log in, they'll receive a verification code on their registered mobile number or authentication app, which they must enter to gain access.
Regularly prompt users to update their passwords and encourage the use of strong, unique passwords for each client account.
Provide clear session timeout durations and auto-logout features to ensure that accounts are not left accessible on shared or public devices.
While streamlining the login process for users with multiple accounts enhances usability, security should never be compromised.
Implementing 2FA ensures an added layer of security, reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
By combining ease of access with robust security measures, users can manage multiple accounts efficiently and securely.
