FORMS | Enhancements for Repeatable Fields and Tables on Forms
Issue:
Repeatable fields are often missed as they are not expanded by default.
Required fields within repeatable sections are not validated unless manually expanded.
There's no mechanism to enforce a minimum number of entries in repeatable fields.
Proposed Solutions:
Show First Entry by Default:
Introduce a "Show first entry" checkbox for repeatable items.
The first entry appears ready for input without needing to click "Open" or "Add Row".
Partial completion prompts validation; empty fields are not considered during validation.
Require Minimum Entries:
Add a "Require {x} entries" setting for repeatable fields.
Pre-opens the specified number of entries that must be completed before form submission.
Ensures all required fields in repeatable entries are validated.
Benefits:
Reduces the risk of missing repeatable sections.
Ensures required fields within repeatable sections are validated.
Offers flexible form design without cluttering the form.
Simplifies form maintenance by eliminating the need for default answers.

Show first entry without the need to press open would be very helpful.
Also where fields in a repeatable have been populated by a dynamic list, the first item should be shown first (currently you have to press open then hit back multiple times to get to the first item).

Would also like to add that an editable header or number for each repeatable would be a nice feature if you can’t already do this.
