Moving over to start using Route optimisation in Formitize, from using two others before (wanting to keep it all under one umbrella), have been informed that the address has to match exactly to what Google Maps has listed - Even though an export with the current address in the system works in other programs and the contact appears in formitize maps. (line 2 in formitize addresses can’t be used for names/ floor number/ room number, etc. - as in other systems/online purchasing, etc.)
Could the address field be forced to check against Google Maps so that in new customer forms or data input by an in-house user, it is confirmed correct and acceptable by Formitize? If one address is incorrect- in the slightest, the entire route optimisation bombs out; even if a user is not using the route optimisation/delivery function now but wants to start using it in the future, they will have to go through and update all their addresses for each client! At the moment, when a customer fills out a new customer form, and it auto-populates in CRM, we have been told we have to go in, delete the address provided and type it in again against the Formitize standard.
Inputting a user in Xero and looking up an address, the system will put in “St”, for example, and not “Street”. I have been advised this is not accepted by Formitize, and the address has to be deleted and input against Formitzie standard - double entry is required, and therefore, integration with Xero details does not work, could formalize not use an industry-standard address search, please?
If the forced input of only an address accepted by formitize by the client/ user is actioned at the start, hours of admin will be saved - Thanks
