Dedicated Page for Integration/Xero Errors

Description:

  • A customer has identified a need for a dedicated page to display errors that occur when invoices, contacts, or payments fail to sync with Xero.

  • Currently, error messages are displayed in the Resolution Centre at the bottom of the page, but they can be easily dismissed and lost.

Details:

  • Static Error Page: Create a dedicated static page that displays all errors related to integration with Xero, including failed syncs of invoices, contacts, and payments.

  • Error Details: The page should list the reasons why each item failed to sync with Xero, similar to the current error messages displayed in the Resolution Centre.

  • Accessibility: Add a link to the dedicated error page in the 'Tools' dropdown menu, allowing users to easily access the page and review errors at their convenience.

Benefits:

  • Improved user experience by providing a clear and accessible location for users to review and address integration errors.

  • Enhanced error tracking, ensuring that users do not miss important error messages and can take the necessary steps to resolve issues.

  • Streamlined troubleshooting process, as users can refer to the dedicated error page for detailed information on why an item failed to sync with Xero.

Note: This feature is a suggestion from a customer and is currently under consideration. We will review its feasibility and potential benefits to our platform before proceeding.
