Objective:
Improve accessibility to important client contact information by displaying the client’s mobile number directly after clicking on a job in the Diary view. This enhancement will allow users to view the client's phone number without needing to open the full job details, streamlining workflows and increasing efficiency.
Current State:
At present, users must open the full job to access the client’s mobile number, which adds extra steps and time, particularly for users managing multiple jobs in the Diary.
Proposed Solution:
Display Client Mobile Number on Job Preview:
When a user clicks on a job in the Diary, the client’s mobile number will be shown on the initial job preview screen.
This will eliminate the need to open the full job details to access the mobile number, making it easier for users to quickly contact the client if needed.
Benefits:
Improved Efficiency: Users can quickly view and access client contact details without having to open and navigate through the full job details, saving time.
Streamlined Communication: This enhancement will allow field staff and administrative users to contact clients more easily for confirmation, updates, or inquiries, directly from the Diary view.
Example Use Case:
A technician clicks on a job in the Diary and immediately sees the client’s mobile number. This allows them to confirm details with the client on the spot, without needing to go through additional steps.
