Description: The user has suggested improvements to the Formitize drawing tool, specifically for the purpose of pest management. The proposed enhancements include:

  • Proposed Enhancements:

    1. Upload Housing Floor Plans or Maps: Allow users to upload specific formats of housing floor plans or maps for more accurate and detailed planning.

    2. Custom Shapes for Pest Management: Integrate custom shapes such as markers for ant traps, rodent stations, and perimeter sprays.

    3. Professional-Level Site Drawings: If uploading a map isn't feasible, enable the creation of professional site drawings within the tool.

    4. Embedding Photos in Drawings: Facilitate embedding photos of job sites directly within the drawing and proposal for clearer communication.

    5. Compass Bearing Feature: Include a compass bearing in the drawing tool to assist in orientation and planning.

Additional Context:

  • This request seems to be an extension of the photo markup solution but with specific features tailored for pest management.

Note: The above are proposed feature suggestions. During development, some or all of these features may be incorporated into the solution, depending on feasibility and alignment with the overall product vision.

    being able to markup a photo with comments is important for communicating issues to clients.

    Also being able to upload an aerial image and mark it up to is needed for my services.

    The ability to put a note on a photo captured like in the asset module would be a great idea - especially when taking multiple photos of multiple rooms,

    Would be nice to have an upload section for the drawings and specifications and an option to allocate where the photos that we have taken are exactly located on the drawing uploaded.

    Drawing Tool

    Need drawing tool to be accurate when drawing lines, seems the cells are too big. Cannot fit an outline of a slab where there are a few penetrations or has a few turns and corners, just doesn't fit into one. Been using form pigeon which is easier and user-friendly. Please update so we can centralize all work in formitize.

    Original Request:

    Creation to completion and everything in between with the Formitize drawing tool.

    Specifically uploading a housing floor plan/ map in a specified format and being able to add custom shapes including adding a legend with features such as ant traps, rodent stations, permitter spray, etc

    Create professional-level site drawings if the map cannot be uploaded.

    Directly embed photos of your job site right in the drawing and proposal so that it's easy for customers and your team to understand what's getting done!
